Got a call from a woman with a older voice saying she was from some lung charity here in the UK. She warned that fibreglass insulation could be harmful and asked if I fancied a no-charge inspection. When I asked how she got my number, she just said it was from a list of people who'd had fibreglass put in ages ago - which isn’t me at all! Then she just cut me off straight away. I looked it up later and found out this scam's been doing the rounds in Hertfordshire - they actually turn up at your house and try to sell you expensive, low quality loft insulation. Proper sneaky!
