I've been getting loads of calls on my landline from 01733 8095 something, but no one ever talks or leaves any message. Its always silent. I reckon its probably just some company or scam trying to find active numbers to sell on or target with even more calls. Seems like pure hassle to me.

When he called again today, I made it clear I’m not with his company and asked him to stop bothering me. He might be legit, but is it really allowed to do these cold calls?

Got a call for the second time, this time showing a local number that seemed fake. The guy said he was Peter Stokes from some Energy Relief company and wanted to know if we'd installed double glazing. I didn’t want to get involved, told him we’re on the Do Not Call list, and that he really shouldn’t be ringing us. He hung up pretty sharpish after that. I've passed it on to TPS now.

The caller took an age to connect, and just as we greeted him, he abruptly said goodbye and cut the line. Quite irritating, to be honest!

I received a rather suspicious call from a gentleman named Peter Stokes, claiming to represent Energy Relief. He used a local area code, which raised my eyebrows-possibly a clone? This older chap inquired if we had double glazing installed. I informed him that our number is registered on the Telephone Preference Service list, and just like that, he hung up. I've since blocked the number and reported it to the TPS.

I received a call from a number I didn’t recognise, so I chose not to pick up and ended up blocking it. Curiously enough, it seems to be linked to a firm named Magreatha or something similar. Interestingly, this is quite similar to another call I had from 01905 889259, which is registered in the Worcester region, but this one is listed as a landline in Peterborough. Quite strange!

I have no clue who was on the other end. I answered and after a brief silence, a recorded voice just said "goodbye." This happened a bunch of times yesterday and once more this morning. Really irritating!

Received a call supposedly from O2, claiming I was eligible for a 30% discount on my contract for the next half a year. When I inquired if this would show up in my O2 account online, he mentioned sending over a couple of security texts with links to click on. That instantly raised my flag. Then he started talking about needing to carry out some security checks. I decided to head straight to O2 myself to verify everything and told him I’d return the call afterwards, promptly ending the conversation. Clearly, it was a dodgy scheme.

I've had a similar experience with this number. The caller claimed to represent O2, but when I mentioned that my contract with them was finished long ago, she abruptly hung up-definitely not how O2 operates. When I tried ringing the number again, I was bombarded with nonsensical chatter about utilities and had to navigate through a confusing menu; this is certainly not a legitimate O2 call. This isn't the first instance, either; I've received an array of this kind of nonsense from them before.

Got another call from someone about energy savings. It was a bloke who finally spoke and said, "Hi, Peter Stokes here." Before I clocked it was just a recorded voice, I shot back, "Well, of course you are. Happy Christmas!" then ended the call. Blocked them straight away.
