Without a doubt, this is Lloyds Bank. I used their app’s “Call Us” option, and this is the number that popped up. My call history shows the number dialled was actually +441733462226, then something like 056737, which looks like a mix of two separate numbers: 01733462226 and 01733056737. I’ve honestly never come across the second one before. Still, there’s no doubt this is definitely Lloyds!

I received a call today claiming that someone was attempting to set up a bank account using a credit card linked to my former bank - the one that shut down its branch, prompting me to switch to Lloyds. The caller mentioned they’d need to place me on hold to speak with Lloyds about this matter, which I found quite absurd. I informed him that I wouldn't be sharing any details, especially with someone I didn’t recognise. I wrapped up the conversation shortly after.

My son received a call from some folks claiming to be from DRS Debt Recovery based in Liverpool, supposedly representing eBay. They were fishing for his account information and password. Quite concerning!

I received a call from someone claiming to be from Lloyd's Bank, insisting they needed to chat with my brother. They went on about how a significant sum of money had been drained from his account. What's more, they mentioned a person named Sammy had just attempted to pull out £100, even though my brother still had his card in his possession. Quite a peculiar situation, I must say!

Got a call offering life insurance quotes, I said no thanks. Then the guy started getting pushy, so I told him again I wasn’t interested. After that, he began swearing at me. I ended the call and he rang me back about four times.
