A woman rang claiming to be from some kind of Consumer Survey company. I told her I wasn’t interested straight away, but she kept saying “you don’t know what I’m going to say next.” When I guessed it was about timeshares, she said no, it was connected to various Financial Services firms that might owe me money from old loans. I explained I haven’t taken out a loan in decades, like over 40 years, so it’s pointless. Then I just ended the call. They’ve called me twice in two days now, so I’ve blocked their number. These annoying calls need to be stopped for good.

Got another one of those bloody silent calls, what a pain!

Was painting my living room and had just climbed down from the ladder when this number rang. Picked up, and there was nothing but quiet before they cut me off. This keeps happening! My caller ID normally shows who’s calling but not this time, so I had to get the number through 1471. Funny enough, about 10 minutes earlier I’d dealt with a call trying to scam me about boiler maintenance. These scammers are really getting on my nerves.
