It was actually a legit service call.

I was home when I got a missed call that didn't say a word, no voicemail or anything. Kinda felt like it might have been some dodgy telemarketer or a scam call.

This lot are nothing but con artists! They claim they can recover your lost funds, but insist on payment before they lift a finger. It's clear to me they’re running a scam operation, and I noticed they hardly have any history on company house-if that! The chap I chatted with bore an uncanny resemblance to a Tim Taylor who scammed me earlier this year, though I suspect that might not even be his actual name.
