Just got a call saying there’s been weird stuff going on with my bank card. Total scam, don't trust it!

I kept getting calls every day last week from +44 1732 608006 on my German mobile. Looking at other comments here, it seems like they’re targeting Brits living overseas. I didn’t answer any of the calls because I didn’t want to know what they were about, but I’ve since blocked that number. Today, I got another call from +44 121 468 3181 which might be linked to the same people.

So this person rings me up saying they’re from ILM Financial, asking if I have any pension money left over in the UK. When I asked where they got my number from, the guy just mumbled something like “not sure, maybe LinkedIn or Facebook.” Thing is, I’ve never put my phone number on either of those! I told them flat out I wasn’t sharing any details and then hung up. Managed to block the number after that.

Got a call from a bloke with an Indian accent saying he was from BT Openreach, using the number 01732884441. I just told him I wasn't interested and ended the call. About a week ago, another dodgy call came through, but that one was from a number linked to a Romanian network. Both seemed pretty fishy to me.

Some bloke from India called me about an internet issue I apparently had. When I asked him if he knew which company my internet was from, he just dropped the call on me. Bit odd, really.

Got a call from this number which apparently is linked to Sevenoaks GB located in Guernsey. I checked on Google and it looks like they’re using quite a few other numbers too. Best thing to do is just block it and move on.

I’m a Brit living in Switzerland and for the past week, I’ve been getting a call to my mobile every afternoon around 2 to 4pm. I’m at work then and can’t pick up. They never leave a voicemail and you can’t call them back either. Chuffed I came across this site, now I know I can just let it ring!

I get calls on my work phone like all the time, sometimes several times a week. If I’m not able to pick up, they end up talking to my manager and ask for me but never say who’s calling. When my boss tries to hand me the phone, the caller just hangs up. It’s super frustrating. Has anyone figured out how to block or stop these calls?

Living in Luxembourg, I got a call from this number recently. It barely rang, so I figured they were hoping I'd let it go to voicemail and then phone them back. I ended up looking it up here to find out if it's some sort of scam.

I get a call every day sometime between 2 and 4 in the afternoon. It’s from a German number and seems to be targeting Brits living overseas. I don’t bother answering it at all - just ignore it.

the calls arent from ilm financial ltd, its actually a firm called ilm global (international lead management) thats probably ringing you out of the blue. we’ve reported this to the fca and action fraud here in the uk. my advice is just to hang up straight away if anyone contacts you about your pension. the fca spokesperson recently mentioned that “any cold caller talking to you about your pension is likely trying to steal your money”.

Got a couple of missed calls from this number but they didn’t leave any voicemail. It’s weird because I’m actually in France right now, yet recently I've been getting loads of dodgy calls coming from Kent.
