Got a call earlier today from someone claiming to be from Talk Talk (i use their broadband) saying I might need to update my router. They asked me to hop onto my computer and do a few checks to prove they were legit (didn’t fall for it obviously). Just a heads up, they’re trying to lure people onto dodgy sites that probably have viruses or malware. Watch out for this!

Got a call from some finance firm, didn’t catch the name properly as he spoke super fast. Said it was about making a claim on some kind of package bank accounts - instantly hung up!

I picked up and calmly asked them to take me off their calling list, but then some really rude person started telling me I shouldn’t be sharing my number - which I haven’t done at all. They’re very impolite, and I have no clue who they even are since they never say. Don’t bother answering, honestly.

Just like others have said, I've had loads of calls from different parts of the UK saying they're from PPI. Every time I block one, another call pops up from somewhere new in the UK. Feels very dodgy and looks like a proper scam to me. If the number’s not familiar, best to just ignore it!

Got a call from a Sevenoaks number I didn’t know so I didn’t pick up. Checked it out here and it was exactly what I suspected. Blocked it straight away on my phone. Not botherin’ to 141 it. I’m well fed up with these constant calls. Probably got about 50 numbers blocked on my phone now, fingers crossed it does the trick.

I've been getting calls on loads of different numbers that say they're from all over the UK with different area codes but it's always the same lot. I'm pretty sure they're not actually calling from Britain. They say it's about PPI but it's a total scam, best not to pick up and block them if you can.

This is the third PPI call I’ve gotten this week. This number, plus the one before it (which was a totally different 016 number), both sounded weirdly the same - from the way they said hello to the caller’s voice and how pushy she was.

They rang me and I answered with “hello who’s this?” but I couldn’t really catch what they said, then she asked “how are you today?” I was like, sorry what? She said it again but I didn’t say anything back and she just kept quiet on the line. I could hear loads of voices in the background, like loads of people on phones too. I’m only 12 and the number looked like a mobile one. I’m guessing they use it so people answer. It made me feel uneasy and kinda worried. Cheers x

I received a call from a young lady with an Asian accent about PPI.

There was a big pause when I picked up - I think the caller claimed to be from the BBC, but the connection was awful and the woman had a strong accent. When I told them I was at work and couldn’t talk, there was this long silence - didn’t sound like they ended the call, but it lasted so long I ended it myself. Mostly annoying, felt a bit like harassment honestly.
