Got a call from some place called the UK Consumer Center today. They were talking about life insurance but kept saying they weren’t trying to sell me anything, so I just let them carry on. Turns out they handle rate changes, so I gave them the details of my policy. Then they put me through to a life insurance expert named Nathan who actually helped me bring down my payments by over £20 a month! I’m pretty pleased with that, even though they were a bit pushy at first, definitely worth hearing them out.
