I got a call from a friendly guy who said I might be eligible for a free funeral prepayment plan. I mentioned I’m on the Telephone Preference Service and before I could say more, he just ended the call. I only picked up because the number had a local area code!

Blocked this number straight away. They said it was about some government insulation scheme. I told them I already had insulation fitted in my loft years ago under a different government programme. They wouldn’t accept my answer and have rung me back a couple of times since. Feels a bit dodgy to me. Although, I think there is a newer UK scheme from 2020 related to loft insulation. The call was from somewhere near Petersfield.

Got a call from 01730352126 about some issues with my loft insulation. I told the guy I wasn’t interested and quickly hung up. Later, I looked them up on Google and it seems like it’s probably a scam.

Got a call that felt dodgy, when my missus picked up, the person just dropped the line straight away. I tried calling back, but it said the number wasn’t recognised. Definitely seemed fishy to me.
