10 yearsReceived a rather dodgy call on my mobile from a so-called pensions and finance outfit. They chose not to leave a voicemail, which raised my suspicions, so I decided to return the call as it came from a local number-thought it might be legitimate. When I got through, the representative mentioned the name of their business (though I've completely blanked on the full title, something along the lines of pensions and finance). I informed them I wasn't interested, pointing out the lack of a message which prompted my call. At that moment, they attempted to fish for my phone number under the pretext of wanting to ‘remove’ me from their list, but I wouldn’t play along since I had called them from a withheld number. They pressed on, claiming that without providing my number, I would keep receiving calls. I firmly declined, hung up, and promptly decided to block that number. Quite the nuisance, really!10 yearsReceived a dodgy call on my mobile from what seemed to be a pensions or finance outfit. They didn't bother to leave a message, which set off alarm bells for me. When I dialled back - reasonably thinking it might be a legitimate local number - someone picked up and mentioned the name of their company, though I can’t recall the exact title, but it definitely had "pensions" and "finance" in it! I quickly told them I wasn’t interested, pointing out that they’d failed to leave any voicemail. Instead of accepting my response, they insisted I share my phone number to supposedly get me off their list. Naturally, I wasn't having any of that since my call was made with withheld number. They persisted, warning that I’d keep getting calls unless I complied. So, I firmly told them no, hung up, and added that number to my block list. - Caller: Pensions company.11 yearsI’m quite tired of these persistent missed calls cluttering up my phone. The reason they’re marked as 'missed' is simply because I refuse to pick up. After doing a little detective work on the number, I promptly add them to my block list. It’s really the only sensible approach to handle these bothersome calls, and there’s no sense in letting them rattle my cage. Sadly, it seems these calls are just an irritating aspect of modern life nowadays! - caller: 01728 56275511 yearsThis number keeps on phoning me, but whenever I try to return the call, it just cuts off. Quite frustrating!Submit Your Own Report (01728 562755)
