They said Sky had merged with BT and asked about my internet device and if my router’s blue light was flashing. I told them it wasn’t. Then they wanted me to switch on my laptop, but I refused, saying I didn’t know who they were since they called me. They kept insisting they were from Sky and about the merger with BT. I politely told them to stop bothering me and hung up. Later, I phoned BT and they confirmed they haven’t merged with Sky and have no plans to do so. The number that called me was 01727622387.
