He went on about switching my mobile provider and boasted he could secure me a smashing deal. I made it clear I wasn’t keen on the idea. He identified himself as “Alex from Vodafone.”

I've been inundated with calls from this particular number. I picked up the phone on one occasion and was told it was a call from Vodafone, but honestly, it didn't sound legitimate at all. I've since blocked the number, but they just won't take a hint and keep ringing me!

When I attempt to check for a voicemail, it bizarrely calls them back instead, leading me straight into a chaotic "call centre" where they're blaring on about some shop in St Albans alongside a cacophony of music while I’m left hanging. It’s clear these calls are completely unwanted and unsolicited, not to mention they could potentially pose a risk.
