No clue who that is, I never pick up calls from numbers I don’t know and I don’t know anyone from St Albans either. It only rings about 5 or 6 times which to me usually means a scam. It’s buzzed me a few times already and it’s just irritating. Saw some comments here saying it might be some insulation firm.

Got a call from a woman with an Asian accent, claiming to be about insulation. She asked for me by name but I never gave it. When I asked her "how’s the weather there?" she just went silent. Felt a bit dodgy to me.

On Mon 11th April 2022 my BT landline in St Albans got a call from 01727 537897 - I’ve reported it to BT.com/Scams. Everyone should report these as well, let's try to stop these annoying scam calls! Such rubbish, just a total pain and hassle!

I can’t stand these i### calls! They always kick off with “this isn’t a sales call!” but what a load of rubbish that is. They claim to be from a loft insulation survey company - yeah right, they’ll come round and then try to sell you more insulation, so it clearly is a sales call. I've got a government gateway account for sorting my taxes, like loads of people do. The gov says for the past 30 years my taxes are spot on and paid up. But this caller from abroad tells me I gotta pay some tax debt or I’ll end up in jail. I told her, well then sign me up for free housing and meals if that’s the case. She didn’t like that and just hung up. Pretty sure if I really owed anything, the government wouldn’t just drop the call like that 🤣

Got a call from this number today on my personal phone. Some woman with an accent, calling herself Grace, asked for me by name and then started rambling about loft insulation or something daft like that! I cut her off and said I don’t live in a place like that and told her to take her nonsense elsewhere and shove off! They’ve called me twice now with the same spiel but different numbers, all of which I’ve blocked. These idiots should get a proper job instead of bothering a busy businesswoman like me while I’m trying to work.
