Got a call from a woman claiming she was from BT, saying they could give me cheaper call rates and that, since BT was my provider, they had my permission to call. Thing is, BT isn’t my provider at all, so this was definitely a cold call and should be illegal. After about five minutes of her talking over me, she started swearing and threatened to keep calling me every hour before hanging up. The call was at 10:41 on Thursday, 14 March 2019.
