I reckon it might be one of those scams where they pretend to be BT, saying your account is about to get disconnected. Best to just block the number and ignore it, then maybe give BT a buzz yourself to make sure everything's alright.

This definitely reminds me of one of those dodgy BT internet scams. They usually have you press 1 for one thing and 2 for another. I’m pretty certain it’s a trick to catch you out. The call came through but it just said “incoming call” instead of showing a number, which seemed a bit odd. I used 1471 to get the actual number and it’s nothing to do with BT at all.
