Put this number on my block list a few weeks back, yet it keeps ringing through. Got three calls from it just yesterday. Luckily, our phone blocks the ring on numbers we’ve blocked but still logs them. Pretty sure it’s some sort of auto dialler.

Got a call from these guys around 12.51pm today. All I caught was something about "You’re the only one on this conference call," then the line just dropped. Heads up to everyone, don’t bother mentioning TPS, scammers don’t care. What I do is mess with them for a bit and then politely tell them where they can shove it.

I didn’t even answer this call thanks to my BT Guardian setup. With two phones linked, you don’t hear a peep unless the caller says their name first. If they don’t, the call gets blocked straight away. Honestly, the annoying calls have just stopped completely. You can still answer once or whitelist numbers so friends and family get through after the first time without issues. Definitely the best £50 I’ve spent. We used to get assigned an old school number and have fax noises ringing in the middle of the night, which was proper annoying. Ever since I switched to this system, not a single unwanted call has bothered us. Just so you know, I’m not working for BT or anything, just a very happy (and relieved) user!

Someone rang asking for the “home owner” so I said, “Can you tell me the name of the home owner then?” After a brief silence, they said, “It’s illegal for us to have that info in our records.” I said back, “Funny how it’s alright to hold onto my number though, isn’t it?” I then told them quite bluntly to never ring me again.

I’m not sure exactly when they called, but I just got back from holiday and found out they’d phoned me about a dozen times! I reckon it’s the firm that always calls me a couple times a week, kicking off with “Is this the house owner?” then quickly saying they aren’t trying to sell anything before going on about funding for boilers or home repairs. I never tell them anything, just end the call straight away.

This Windows marketing company is an absolute nightmare, ringing me constantly at all hours. I've told them to quit calling, but they just ignore me and claim it’s a fault with their system so they can’t stop. They also call from a mobile number 07949079185 which then shows up as 01724897655 on my caller ID. To top it off, they always get my name completely wrong when they speak. Utterly disgraceful behaviour.

He went on to say their records showed I’d had loft and cavity wall insulation installed a few years ago, and that my windows were over 10 years old. When I asked where he’d got that info from, he mentioned the national builders register. I told him his details were wrong and that the house was a Glasgow Housing Association property (which it’s definitely not). Once I said it was a council house, he said there was no point in keeping the chat going and just hung up. I’ve blocked the number since then.

A couple of days back, this number rang me. Initially, it was a Scottish lady who then handed me over to a Scottish bloke called David, who talked about some scheme for recycling windows. Not long after, I got another call from a different Scottish woman named Maggie, who said she’d come by later that day to check my windows and let me know how much money I could get for recycling them. I was intrigued and said yes, but no one ever showed up. I’m left wondering what they actually gain, apart from verifying where I live?
