Got a call from these guys around 12.51pm today. All I caught was something about "You’re the only one on this conference call," then the line just dropped. Heads up to everyone, don’t bother mentioning TPS, scammers don’t care. What I do is mess with them for a bit and then politely tell them where they can shove it.

I haven't received this call because I have a BT Guardian system installed. With two phones, there is complete silence, bringing me much-needed peace. The BT Guardian automatically requests callers to state their name, and if they fail to do so, it blocks their calls. In reality, these annoying callers no longer bother me. I can take other calls once and choose to unblock them permanently, ensuring that calls from friends, family, and trusted individuals come through smoothly after the initial screening. It's the best £50 I've ever spent!

Unfortunately, we were mistakenly given the old phone number of a school, resulting in fax noises disturbing us at night. However, ever since I installed the new phone system, we haven't received any unwanted calls. Just to clarify, I'm not a representative of BT, but just a satisfied and relieved customer.

I believe decisive action ought to be taken regarding these persistent callers. They seem to ring me incessantly, and I'm utterly fed up with it. Despite my attempts to inform them of their frequency, they claim otherwise. However, it clearly displays on my phone that they do, indeed, call every day. Someone rang asking for the “home owner” so I said, “Can you tell me the name of the home owner then?” After a brief silence, they said, “It’s illegal for us to have that info in our records.” I said back, “Funny how it’s alright to hold onto my number though, isn’t it?” I then told them quite bluntly to never ring me again.

I’m not sure exactly when they called, but I just got back from holiday and found out they’d phoned me about a dozen times! I reckon it’s the firm that always calls me a couple times a week, kicking off with “Is this the house owner?” then quickly saying they aren’t trying to sell anything before going on about funding for boilers or home repairs. I never tell them anything, just end the call straight away.

They mentioned that according to their records, I had recently gotten cavity wall/loft insulation and had windows that were over 10 years old. I asked how they obtained this information and they stated it was from the national builders register. I informed them that their information was incorrect as this property is actually owned by the Glasgow Housing Association (which is not the case). When they heard that it was a council house, they abruptly ended the conversation and hung up. I have now blocked this number.
