This number keeps ringing me over and over. Whenever I pick up, the call just ends abruptly. And if I don’t get to the phone or I’m not home, there’s no voicemail left either. It’s quite unnerving, especially for older folks. Really annoying situation.

They rung up askin for the property owner, sayin somethin about funding and a mate who runs some green scheme. I had to clear up, I ain't involved in any of that. Made it clear I don’t want anything to do with their funding offers at all. I’m gonna block the number for good, they’ll be callin back again no doubt. At the start of the week, I got a call from a lady asking to speak with the person who owns the house. She was advertising discounted windows and then handed me over to her manager. I figured I'd play along for a bit just to see what happened. When they eventually asked for my address to come by and give a quote, that’s when I ended the call. Since then, I’ve noticed they've called me three more times but I haven’t answered.

Got a call from a Scottish lady using the Sc###horpe area code claiming there’s some government grant to swap out old windows. She said their records show my windows are more than 10 years old. Claimed to be from some energy company related to developing Scotland, but I couldn’t find anything about them or any such funding when I searched online. Got really defensive when I asked about data protection or where they got my details from. Felt dodgy to me.

Got a call from this number on my home phone around 1 in the afternoon. I answered with a simple "Hello" but there was nothing on the other end at first. Then a bloke finally said "hello-hello" and then just ended the call. If it's one of those eco calls, I’m well fed up with them - had another one just yesterday, told them I was tied up and just hung up. Proper pain in the neck!

Upon picking up the phone, I was greeted by a rather genteel, softly spoken woman’s voice, clearly from England, with no prior pleasantries. She calmly stated, “You received a call today from someone who went by the name ‘Black Wellyboot’. Should you wish to know more, please ring the mobile number provided.” Unfortunately, I wasn’t able to catch the mobile number mentioned.

We’ve been getting calls like 4 or 5 times daily from this automated number at home. After they kept bothering one of our older clients, we decided to call back. It went to a voicemail for something called Blackwell Eco Supply. I’ve reported them to Trading Standards at the council because it’s upsetting that they’re bothering elderly and disabled people. Proper annoyed about it.

Suspicious call from someone claiming to be Green Funding Scotland. I checked the number with 1471 and rang back. The answering message was from Blackwell Eco Supply. When I spoke to the bloke, he got quite defensive and I ended up winding him up a bit - he definitely bit the bait.
