Phone number ☎️ 01723370088 👆 is reported as a scam where callers claim your Internet Protocol address is corrupted and offer to fix it for free. They ask for details about your connected devices and instruct you to visit a specific website and give them remote access. While pretending to perform technical repairs, they actually install malware to steal passwords and gain access to banking and shopping accounts later. Visitors should be aware this is a trick to compromise their devices and personal information.
Reports on phone number 01723370088
5 yearsMy mate who’s in IT told me this is a pretty typical scam. Some random person rings you up saying your IP address has been messed with by someone in the States. They claim they'll sort it out for no cost. Then they want to know what devices you’ve got hooked up to your wifi and ask you to type in a website address they give you into your browser. After that, they want remote access to your gadgets. Once you let them in, they show you fake techy screens that look official, but actually, they’re planting malware on your machine. Later on, this spyware steals your passwords and other info, so they can get into your banking, PayPal, or online shopping accounts. The best thing to do is just hang up straight away. Your internet provider won’t call you about problems like that - they fix stuff quietly or only if you complain. I nearly fell for it, but something felt off just before I entered the web address they gave me.StatesSubmit Your Own Report (01723 370088)
