Got a voicemail from someone claiming to be HMRC, warning me to ring them back or else there’d be consequences. Haven’t bothered returning the call yet.

Got a call on my mobile from 01722 446299 this morning around 10:02 (I live up here in Northern Ireland). It was some automated woman’s voice telling me that HMRC were trying to drag me into court and it was urgent to get in touch with their caseworker straight away. Totally an HMRC scam, don’t fall for it.

Got a call from a number I didn't recognise, missed it thankfully after reading other comments about it. I've actually had a fake HMRC call on my home phone before, so I’ll just block this one too.

They called and said if I didn't answer or get back to them, there would be some kind of trouble for me. Proper threatening stuff, made me feel really uneasy. Can't believe people do that over the phone!

got a voicemail today from this number saying it was from hmrc but the way they spoke sounded off to me so i decided to check it online. defo a scam call!! came from bracknell, berkshire area.

this number called me too, pretending to be hmrc. as soon as i checked the voicemail, i got a text from my phone company warning me about a charge for an overseas call. bit suspicious if you ask me.
