Got a voicemail from someone claiming to be from HMRC. They said I was going to court in Manchester over some illegal use of my NHS number. They gave me a callback number and said it was urgent I ring them straight away. Their number was withheld though. I phoned the number back asking who they were and they just ended the call. Tried again but no reply. Definitely a scam, watch out!

Today I got a call from the number (01722) 446227. When I picked up, the voicemail said there’s some legal action against my national insurance and I need to ring them back or it’ll end up in crown court. Sounds like a total scam to me, just trying to scare people!
