Got a voicemail about a £600 charge pending on my debit card. I called my bank straightaway, and they told me it was a scam and warned not to press 1 because they'd try to get your bank info. They advised me to just hang up if the call comes through again.

Got a message on my phone from someone saying they're with BT, telling me my internet's been hacked or something. It was all recorded and they asked me to press a button to sort it out. Sounded a bit dodgy to me.

Got a voicemail claiming to be Visa Secure, saying there was a £600 charge on my card. It said if I didn’t make the payment, press 1. Like always, I hit 1 just to hear what they’d say next, but no one picked up. I can’t say for certain it’s a scam, but a) it’s the exact same number that’s been used for those fake internet disconnection threats and b) it’s totally not how Visa ever reached out to me before. Definitely a dodgy scam call.
