I've been getting calls from it around 3 or 4 times daily for nearly a week straight. What's weird is that, unlike other scammers who usually hang up after like 7 or 8 rings, these ones keep it going for almost a whole minute before stopping. Pretty annoying!5 yearssome bloke called claiming to be from a financial investigation team asking about some shares i supposedly owned. a while back, i got a similar call where they tried to scam me into paying to ‘release a bond’ so i’d get some cash back! i told them straight, i wasn’t falling for that. i said if he really knew about me, send me the info by post. he got all huffy and said he’d send it by dragonfly or something weird. i just told him to do that and hung up. end of story.5 yearsPretty sure any number starting with 0171 is no longer active.
