Been getting calls for a few days now, so i decided to look up the number - definitely NOT a Vodafone one. All the Vodafone numbers around here start with 01709 918, 609, 621, 624, 625, 627 or 628, but never 619. Best to just ignore it.

This is definitely a fake call, nothing to do with Vodafone. When I tried ringing back, no answer from Vodafone at all. The person on the line was daft enough to forget to mute me, so I overheard him chatting to someone else about what to do if they get a call like that. He sounded really flustered and couldn’t even provide any ID or base number when I asked for it.

They’ve been ringing me up twice daily but I always miss it coz I’m at work. Managed to pick up today, and this woman said she was from Vodafone. Told her I’d already spoken to Vodafone, so what’s the point of her call (I knew she seemed fishy). She asked what it was about, I said paying my bill, then she stopped and said that’s exactly why she called. She said she’d note it down on their system, I said alright and ended the call. Total scammers imitating Vodafone, don’t fall for it.

I've had these chaps ring me two days on the trot, each time fishing for various snippets of my security details-yesterday it was numbers 2 and 4, and today it’s numbers 1 and 3. I'd advise against dishing out any information. Instead, contact Vodafone directly to address any concerns. Better to be safe than sorry!

Someone pretending to be from Vodafone’s debt recovery team kept calling about a bill I’d already settled and I told them that. They just kept ringing every day after that. When I got in touch with Vodafone myself, they said it was definitely a scam and told me to block the number. They also advised me to let them know if these dodgy calls came from different numbers, as scammers often switch them up.

Someone rang up asking for Mr Cardossa and said they were from Vodaphone, i told them this isnt my number and ive got no connection to him, told em to take my number off their list and ended the call. I didn’t give them any info, and then the person got quite rude, saying they already had my details before hanging up. The person said they were from Vodafone and claimed I owed money that I needed to pay straight away by handing over my bank info. I told them I was all paid up so no. Then he said he’d sort the debt and kept me on the line for like 7 minutes while “sorting” it out. I told him it felt fishy, so he gave me a Rotherham postcode S63 5NA. I rang Vodafone myself after and they said it probably wasn’t them since there’s no balance showing on my account.

This number called me and a very useless woman was on the line. She tried talking about some account and phone number that aren’t mine, claiming I owe £29.00. She couldn’t give me any info on when or how that debt happened. When I pushed for answers, she got really rude, kept cutting me off and wouldn’t reply to my questions. She said she’d check it out and call me back. I asked her to send me anything in writing from now on, but she flat out refused and said she’d call if she wanted to.
