There was a long pause on the line, about 15 seconds, before I called 1471 to check who had phoned. Then an Indian man asked to speak to Mr Hung See. I think I must've hung up too fast and called again. I told him he’d got the wrong number, but he repeated my number back and suggested maybe I was mistaken about the name. He then said he was ringing from some IT company about my computer. Since I’m a coder who builds my own PCs, I couldn’t help but laugh and told him to stop wasting my time before hanging up. I work remotely and keep my number to myself, plus I’m on the TPS. This feels like one of those foreign firms that take UK numbers to make random calls. Likely they’re connected to UK scammers who’ll try to ‘fix’ your computer or some rubbish like that.
