I recently had a rather dodgy experience with a so-called debt recovery agency. They only seemed to have my last name, an initial, and my home phone number, but nothing else. When I spoke to them, they attempted to pry more personal information from me by saying, "For your security, could you please confirm..." However, they eventually confessed that they didn’t possess any of my details and were merely trying to reel me in. It all felt very untrustworthy and suspicious, to say the least!
