Over the past few days, I've gotten two calls claiming to be from TalkTalk, and both times the person on the phone spoke with an Asian accent. When I began asking them questions, they just ended the call. One of the calls came from a landline number that started with a Halifax area code.

These lot pretended to be from TalkTalk, saying there’s an issue with my router and offering to replace it, plus send me some cash back. Turns out it’s all a ruse to sneak into your bank details and have you send them money after their ‘error’. Total rubbish, don’t fall for their friendly sales pitch. I played along just to see what they’d do next, but they didn’t manage to scam me at all.

Got a few calls this week from different numbers all pretending to be from Talk Talk - just the same old nonsense as always.
