If you reckon it's a scam, have a look on 'Action Fraud' by googling it. Then head to the 'police.uk' website, hit the 'reporting' tab at the top, and go to the 'report a phishing attempt' section and follow what it says. Just make sure to report scams there, not spam. There’s a ton of boiler and insulation scams going about this time of year… best to not answer cold calls at all. If you do, you’re just asking for trouble. Never hand over money or let anyone inside without properly verifying who they are. It’s common sense really. Make sure to report any dodgy numbers here and also tell the police through ‘action fraud’ if you spot a scam.

Judging by some of the comments here, if they’re calling about boilers, they’re wasting their effort on me. A) They’d need to deal with my landlord, and B) I got a brand new boiler less than two years ago, all thanks to my landlord! And FYI, my landlord is the local council anyway!
