Then head to the 'police.uk' website, hit the 'reporting' tab at the top, and go to the 'report a phishing attempt' section and follow what it says. Just make sure to report scams there, not spam. There’s a ton of boiler and insulation scams going about this time of year… best to not answer cold calls at all. If you do, you’re just asking for trouble. Never hand over money or let anyone inside without properly verifying who they are. It’s common sense really. Make sure to report any dodgy numbers here and also tell the police through ‘action fraud’ if you spot a scam.
