Got a call pestering me about mortgage stuff, wasn't interested at all.

someone rang me claiming to be from the mortgage review centre, sounded dodgy. my actual mortgage company never contacts me out of the blue, so it was suspicious. not sure how they got my name, but i just ended the call straight away.

I got a call supposedly about a mortgage renewal, but it was clearly a scam! The person on the line didn’t know my name or who they were even calling. I have my number set to private, but that made no difference with this lot. Could be the same outfit behind 017092531921. They seem to be going after folks who probably don’t even have a mortgage - a bit worrying, honestly. This area code keeps popping up with loads of different numbers attached to it.
