Got a call telling me I’d bagged 10 lottery tickets from some amaze lottery thing. They kept pushin me to say yes to their questions, nothing fancy just straightforward stuff, no messing about. The connection was awful, kept cutting out and crackling. Whenever I mentioned the line was patchy, the voice, which sounded automatic, kept askin me “are you sure?” like it didn’t believe me.

I picked up but didn't say anything. The caller knew my name, but the voice seemed robotic, like some kind of AI. After a bit, a recorded message started, telling me I'd won a lottery - which confused me since I only enter UK ones. I just blocked the number and deleted it straight away.

So, if you get a call and the person says something like, "Hello (insert name), can you hear me?" in a really clear, kinda robotic voice but their timing feels off, it’s probably a scammer using AI. I’d recommend either just hanging up straight away or muting the call and letting them waste their own time. Whatever you do, don’t answer with “yes” or “yeah” - they might record your voice to break into your accounts or fake you to scam others. Be careful out there, folks!

I got a call from these lot who already knew loads about me and wanted me to verify it all again. Then they claimed I’d won 10 free Euromillions entries this week, but needed my bank info. When I said no, they tried to convince me it wasn’t my card details they wanted, just the account info so they could supposedly 'pay out' any winnings from those free tickets. They even tried to pretend they were sticking to GDPR rules, which was total rubbish. Honestly, watch out - this is a proper scam, don’t get caught out!

Got a call from some fancy AI saying I’d won ten lottery tickets - total rubbish if you ask me! Definitely not a real person on the other end.
