Seems like Offcom allows these kinds of calls, but what can we really do if nobody wants to get calls from this Romford lot? The number group linked to 'utilities' (check the Who Called Me headline) looks a bit dodgy to me, like it might be a scam. I’m planning to report it to BT’s scam team. I’ve already got my BT landline 1572 call protect full. On August 30th, this foreign lady called after a long pause, I told her to stop with the rubbish calls and ended it. Caller said it was about some tech updates for the building and insisted it wasn’t a sales call. They wanted me to confirm the owner’s name and the property details. I told them the property belonged to housing association. Right after that, they just hung up without checking the name.

Got a call from someone saying they were offering legacy planning help in my neighbourhood. They blamed lockdown and their poor social media skills for reaching out by phone. Total rubbish! The voicemail was a recorded message by the same bloke I've heard before about loft insulation scams. I’ve blocked the number now. Seriously, wouldn’t it be great if those dodgy folks got a taste of their own medicine!

a guy called saying they were doing a loft insulation survey about energy efficiency and condensation issues. he asked loads of questions like how old the house was, if the insulation had ever been inspected before, and even my age group (either 40-75 or over 75). he said the manager would ring me back in about 20 minutes. i said i wasn’t interested, thanked him, and then hung up.
