Perhaps the best retaliation would be to inundate them with calls ourselves - a hundred times a day, and who knows, they might reconsider their aggressive approach. Honestly, I’d never entertain using a company that bombards you daily with unsolicited calls. Once you give in to their sales pitch, I fear they’d hound you perpetually! It’s quite infuriating, really!

From reading the other comments, I’m guessing it’s those Crystal windows people again. When I answered with my voicemail, they just ended the call. I keep my answerphone on all the time now because I get nonstop annoying calls all day. If they don’t say who they are, I just let it ring out. Honestly, I’d recommend everyone else to do this too.
