So I got a call from this number 01708227400, said it was BT saying they’re gonna cut off my phone and internet ‘cause of some dodgy activity. It was one of those recorded messages that sounded proper legit. Don’t fall for it, just hang up straight away.

Received yet another of those automated calls purporting to be from BT, claiming that my line would be cut off due to some dodgy dealings, and urging me to PRESS 1 to chat with their engineers. Honestly, what a bore! It’s as if these scams have been doing the rounds for ages. I mean, I’m still here, untouched and waiting for that disconnection, chuckle! Best advice: steer clear and don’t engage. Total nonsense!
