So I got a call from this number 01708227400, said it was BT saying they’re gonna cut off my phone and internet ‘cause of some dodgy activity. It was one of those recorded messages that sounded proper legit. Don’t fall for it, just hang up straight away.

Got a call from what sounded like BT's office saying my line was about to be cut off due to dodgy activity, and they told me to PRESS 1 to chat with their engineers. Honestly, this scam has been happening for ages now and I'm still here with my phone working fine. Don’t fall for it, it’s clearly just a con!
