Annoying unsolicited call received.

I've been receiving a number of missed calls over the past few days, and I haven’t a clue who’s behind them. The most recent one left a voicemail that was clearly computer-generated, instructing me to ring back a certain number. I wouldn't be surprised if it’s just a ploy to lure me into dialling an expensive premium rate line.

They kept ringing me incessantly throughout the day. I chose not to pick up, and I’m rather glad I didn’t. They've now been blocked.

Rang me but hung up straight away when I picked up.

This bloke rang me up, claiming he wanted to discuss my life cover, and then proceeded to ask if I even had any! My husband suggested I cut the call, so I took his advice. Now I’m in the process of barring that number.

Received a couple of calls today. I picked up but stayed mum, and there was utter silence on the other end. This seems to be a regular occurrence and it's really winding me up!

Received a call on my mobile, but I didn't pick up since I didn't recognise the area code. Shortly after, I got another call from the number 07958 214596.

I picked up my phone as usual, keeping schtum when I see unknown numbers. They disconnected as soon as I didn’t engage—quite frankly, I’m fed up with these pesky calls flooding my mobile. The Telephone Preference Service is absolutely useless and hardly deserves to be called a ‘service’.

They persistently ring me at all the wrong hours and never bother to leave a voicemail, so that’s a definite BLOCK!

I received a call from someone claiming to be Mark, who then proceeded to inform me that I had an outstanding debt. I told him to shove off and promptly ended the conversation.

They’ve been ringing me daily throughout the week - fortunately, my phone's alert system warns me that it might be a dodgy call!

I keep receiving calls from this number, even though I've already added it to my block list. I've never once picked up the phone.

I received a rather charming call from a bloke who claimed I was owed £2226 in PPI. Naturally, I responded enthusiastically, suggesting he pop the cheque in the post so I could treat myself. However, he simply hung up on me! How utterly uncivilised!

Received a dodgy call the other day that pitched me some sort of loan. I stupidly shared my bank account info (account no. 12345678) and spent around 10 to 15 minutes chatting with them. Turns out they figured out I wasn't genuinely interested and then they just cut the line! It's quite the disappointment; I've previously wasted 52 minutes on these muppets!

Received a call claiming to be regarding a loan application and life insurance to cover it. I mentioned that I hadn’t applied for any loans nor needed life insurance. Straight after that, they hung up on me. Definitely a scam!

Just had a call from this number about a quarter of an hour ago. I didn’t pick up, and I’ve now hopped on to this site. I’ll be blocking the number straight away!

It rang once, and out of curiosity, I decided to look up the number here. I’m so relieved I didn’t pick up! How on earth do these people continue to evade consequences?

I had a proper joker ring me up, claiming he possessed information about an accident I was supposedly involved in. He asked me to verify the date as he insisted he could assist me in making a claim. I found it all so ridiculous that I couldn’t help but chuckle, which prompted him to hurl some rather unpleasant insults and then promptly hang up. Charming fellow, isn't he?

This number appears to be a scam!

I received a call regarding a car crash that I hadn’t been involved in. After a brief chat, the supervisor, a gentleman with a South Asian accent, took over. I cheekily mentioned that I’d had an unfortunate incident where I couldn’t reach the loo in time and ended up soiling myself. He promptly hung up on me after that.

I received a call regarding an incident I was never involved in. I inquired about the details, but the caller seemed quite hesitant and uncertain. I nearly continued the conversation, but ended up feeling rather irritated and chose to end the call instead.

I've had a flurry of missed calls from this number, 0116 089 7458, ringing me repeatedly. Not a single one was answered on my end.

This caller appears to be a typical ambulance chaser for accident claims. They've managed to fake their caller ID since the number they've used isn't legitimate.

I've found myself in yet another road accident. Honestly, I think it's high time they took my bloody driving licence away.

No voicemail was left, yet there are still folks out there who have the audacity to ring the number back! Honestly, it's baffling, isn't it? If a call truly mattered, they’d surely drop a message. When they do leave one, you can then determine if it's the real deal or just another prank. But simply returning calls haphazardly? That’s hardly the wisest course of action, if you ask me!

Received three calls within a mere couple of minutes—decided not to answer since I have no connections to this region.

I rang up regarding that unexplained collision I was involved in. I mentioned something about being probed by extraterrestrials, and they didn’t hesitate to cut the line. How peculiar!

Received a call just now. They inquired about my name, and when I pressed for the reason behind their call, the absolute fool ended the conversation abruptly.

Received several calls from this number, but I didn’t pick up after doing a little digging on this site. Honestly, if it were important, they would have left a message, wouldn’t they? Sounds like another spammer, so I’ve gone ahead and blocked them.

Like many others here, I received a notification about a missed call that never actually rang. O2 has informed me that I missed a call from 01706941986. However, the call I missed was from a mobile number that no longer seems to exist. I've now blocked it, just in case!

This number has been incessantly ringing me, yet they never respond when I answer. Quite bizarre, really!
