Got a call from this number warning me that my internet would be disconnected in 15 minutes because of some fraud accusation. They claimed to be from BT, but the weird thing is, I don't even have my internet with them. Blocked the number straight away.

Got a voicemail saying it was from my bank’s fraud team about some dodgy activity on my account. Sounded fishy to me.

I got a recorded call claiming to be from my bank saying money was taken out of my account. I just ended the call straight away and would tell everyone else to do the same.

On July 24th, I got a call from the number 1225. They played a recorded message about some dodgy activity on my Visa card and told me to press one. When I did, a bloke with a strong Asian accent answered, and you could hear noise like he was in a call centre. He asked for my name, but I wouldn’t give it. I told him that if it was a legit call, they’d already know who I was speaking to, and I never share personal info on the phone. After that, the call just ended.
