I'm not a BT customer, so I'm rather baffled. This bloke insisted he was from BT and told me that my IP address had been hijacked and exploited by others. It just doesn't add up, especially since I don't even use a BT router! How could that be happening?

This number isn’t actually BT, they just say they work with them. If you really want to contact BT, call them directly. Make sure you read all the fine print carefully before you agree to anything, don’t rush into signing up!

They told me it was BT saying our phone lines were getting updated and wouldn’t be repaired if they broke again; bit strange if you ask me.
