there was this buzz and a few weird noises when i picked up and said hello. then suddenly a recorded voice came on saying goodbye before hanging up straight away. i’ve blocked the number now but i’m sure they’ll ring from somewhere else soon enough :/ i really broke my own rule of staying quiet - silence usually throws both machines and ppl off!

The caller was polite but didn’t leave any voicemail. I didn’t pick up since the number was unfamiliar to me.

I tried calling that number from a different phone and the voice on the line said the number was invalid, asking me to try again. Definitely wouldn't recommend picking up if it rings.

Lately, I've had loads of calls coming from numbers starting with 01704. The weird thing is, whenever I pick up, it immediately goes to some robotic voice saying "goodbye". Quite odd!
