Today, 15/9/2025, I picked up a local call from this number, but after answering, all I got was silence, just a dial tone. I ended the call and decided to block the number.

Received a call from an automated voice saying they were from Visa, asking about some transfer to Western Union. Told me to press 1 to speak with someone. When I finally got a real person and asked who they needed to speak to since I live in a shared house, they just ended the call straight away. A mate had a very similar call from a Southport number just last week. Be careful and don’t tell them anything!
