They claimed to be from BT, telling me my internet speed was way too slow. Then, as you'd expect, they tried to convince me to set up a TeamViewer session so they could get into my computer. Lucky for me, I’m not daft, but I reckon loads of older folks might get caught out by this. These scammers really need to be stopped. It was pretty obvious right from the accent that they were calling from some call centre in India, just like the ones you see getting exposed on YouTube.
