Got a call earlier, sounded like one of those Indian call centres just rambling on. They had the same Southport area code as a call I got yesterday. That one said it was TalkTalk, said there was an issue with my internet and tried to get me to plug in my PC. Something felt off so I said no thanks. Bit annoying really, as I’m ex-directory and never share my number. Feels like my details must’ve leaked somewhere. Probably some info passed from TalkTalk’s Indian team to scammers who use UK area codes to make their cons look real.
