A mate of mine, who’s quite old, got a ring from 01704 524911. The caller claimed to be from some company giving out free ‘emergency buttons’. They even knew her full name and where she lives. They said they’d send a couple of blokes to fit the devices and promised it wouldn’t cost a penny! She wasn’t having any of it though, and said if they didn’t stop calling she’d involve the police. They quickly cut the call after that.

Got a ring from this number on 28th Oct 2020 around 3pm, and just the day before, on 27th Oct at 10:41am, I got a call from 01704524910. The last digit was the only thing different, which was a bit odd. No voicemail or anything left, and since I usually ignore calls from numbers I don’t know, I have no clue what the caller wanted.

After seeing what people said about the number ending in 910, I blocked it straight away. Now it seems they’ve switched to another one, this time ending in 911, so I’ve blocked that one too. Can’t trust these lot at all!
