I got a call and the person used my name right away, then said “how’re you doing, mate?” When I asked who it was, they said something about a review centre and asked me again “how’re you doing, mate?” I repeated my question about who they were, and then the caller just hung up on me.

Honestly, whoever that was clearly doesn’t get how telemarketing is supposed to go and really should get fired - could easily be taken as something scary and maybe even involve the cops.
