Interestingly, I had a call from another number, which bore a striking resemblance, at the same hour the day before (01704524640), also originating from the Southport area. The uncanny similarity hints at some kind of automated system that is manipulating caller ID to keep harassing individuals with these unwelcome calls. As was the case yesterday, I've promptly added this number to my 'blocked' list.
