i got a call from some firm claiming they can see info from my pc and it hasn’t got the newest microsoft update. they said my computer could get hacked easily and needed urgent fixing (quite funny really). they asked me to turn on the computer so they could help "fix" it over the phone. i politely told them thanks but i actually work for action fraud and would report their number to my team.
