Some bloke with an accent that didn’t sound local kept ringing, saying he was a guy called ‘Daz’. I told him he’d got the wrong number but he kept insisting he was right. He phoned a few more times, even guessing the name of my town to convince me he had the right person. I couldn’t catch the name he was using for me, but it’s definitely not mine or my husband’s. In the end, I said I’d involve the police if he didn’t stop, which seemed to scare him off. Felt pretty creepy and his stubbornness was easily the worst bit.
