Got a call from a Southport (Lancs) STD code, some automated guy pretending to be BT saying there was something fishy with my phone line. The message told me to "press 1 to speak to someone who can fix it." I just told 'em "This is a scam, get lost" and hung up straight away. If I'd hit the button, I reckon it woulda connected me to a premium rate number and charged me loads.
