On the 1st of February, I received two calls from someone purporting to be from BT regarding issues with my internet connection. I informed him that I was not a BT customer, to which he insisted that BT was responsible for all broadband services throughout England. To top it off, although the phone number appeared to be from Motherwell, the bloke on the other end had a noticeable accent from the sub-continent. Quite suspicious, wouldn't you agree?
