I received a call from this number claiming I could reduce my phone bill. There was a rather awkward silence at the start, then the caller pressed me to verify that I was indeed the account holder. I ended up cutting the conversation short and have since blocked the number.

I managed to catch one of the callers, who was keen to chat with the account holder but refused to disclose which company he was associated with. I attempted to ring the number back, but it turns out it’s untraceable. It’s clear this is some sort of telemarketing operation.
