Got a call earlier today from a Motherwell number with some bloke's recorded voice telling me "There's been suspicious activity on your account and the charge is £1,499, so we've frozen it." Then it said to press 1 to respond or 2. Seriously, no clue what account they were talking about, just trying to scare you into hitting 1, I guess. Looks like a classic scam, so watch out! 😠
