Got a call from someone speaking with a local accent, offering a half-hour visit from their advisor. He claimed they could slash my energy bills by half but couldn’t explain exactly how, only mentioned it’d involve my supplier. When I told him I’m already on a really cheap tariff, he insisted a visit would still cut costs by 50%. Asked to speak with someone who could provide details about this saving, but no one’s gotten back to me yet. Makes me wonder if it’s just a trick to get into houses where people might be more vulnerable.
