The Home Energy Centre - got my number via some "National Database". They're pushing Air Source Heating now and I've actually scheduled someone to come and explain it all. I've told them ages ago not to bother calling me, but this time I'll be clear with whoever turns up that they need to leave and never come back... Honestly, the best way to deal with these lot is to get them to send a rep over, then just tell them to quit wasting everyone's time.

I recently received a rather unsolicited call from a chap named 'David', who inquired if I was aware of the government’s new central heating grants. Naturally, I responded by asking him if he was aware of how annoying cold calling can be. He seemed to take offence and ended the call rather abruptly! Quite amusing, really!

I received a call from someone named "David" who claimed to be with Home Energy, a company I’d never even heard of. He inquired whether I was aware of a government initiative for heating assistance. When I cheekily asked him if he was familiar with the concept of cold calling, he promptly ended the call!

some bloke called david from home energy centre. didn’t even bother mentioning i’m on the tps list, just slammed the phone down. for the one who asked why they ring then drop the call - these places blast out calls to loads of numbers at once, more than they have folks ready to pick up. so only the quickest get through, the rest just end up silent.

Got a call from this number just now. But as soon as I grabbed my phone to hit answer, they already hung up. If they didn’t want me to pick up, why bother ringing at all? Some people honestly.
